@funkerman7 a lot of things. Irving is not fast like Kemba. Kemba can drive like no other in the draft, he is explosive, and he can make plays. Kemba should’ve won the College Basketball Player of the Year award (it shouldn’t have been Jimmer), he was also awarded the #1 point guard in the nation, he also lead his team to win the Division 1 Championship, and was the most outstanding player during that tourney. He also score 130 points in 5 games in the Big East Tourney. So, yeah he’s good.

@funkerman7 It’s not that we NEED a point, it’s that we NEED an impact player. Someone who will give us wins. We need someone who can drive to the lane and who has good ball handling. The only other person on our team who can do that is DeRozan and he’s a 2. Valanciunas will do nothing for us. He’ll be there to “block shots, set the pick, blah blah blah”, but we really need a player like Kemba. Irving was NOT the only good PG in the draft. That’s ridiculous. Kemba is better than Irving in…

@iN31L Derozan and Weems can definitely play 2 and should play 2, Calderon is dreadful, gotta agree with that. Bayless can definitely do better than he does now, I’m 100% sure. Valanciunas isn’t clunky, he is pretty fast compared to average center jadajada you’re just hating because of Barg/Milicic etc fiasco, but Raps definitely need a center, not a PG, and Kemba is definitely not the answer, because the only decent PG in the draft was Irving. @funkerman7 That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard. Calderon is absolutely dreadful, and Bayless has had time to improve! He’s been in the league for 4 years, and throughout his career has averaged 20 minutes per game! It’s established he won’t be anything more than a mediocre starter or a less than average backup. Kemba has way more skill than Calderon and would basically school him till his death. We have 3 centers and 8 forwards! That means 4 guards! We don’t need another clunky center.

@iN31L Im fairly sure Raps didnt draft Kemba because they did not need to. They have Calderon and most importantly – Bayless, who needs minutes to improve, because he can become a decent PG.
