For the interior designers that recommend putting beds in front of the window- What if there’s an emergency and you need to get through it..
    Like a fire?

I love your ideas. I am working on a guest/home office right now and needed some ideas. I am thinking of doing a black/white damask color scheme and debating about a black accent wall. SCARY color! what do you think?

Rebecca Robeson is made of talent! I love how you tied in the existing element of the tree branch and repeated the motif with twigs at the windows and bird prints on the wall. Amazing! You are so sweet to share your talent with the rest of us. I learn so much everytime I watch your videos.

  16. robesondesign says:

Go for it! I look forward to seeing your rooms! Just remember to submit them separately, one room at a time and be sure to create a floor plan with detailed measurements!… watch this weeks MM video explaining what I need to do it properly. :-) RR

I like the make over for its flow, but as a new mom, I think it’s not safe to place the crib so close to the window with curtains. Babies would play, pull or even drag with the curtains… that’s dangerous!!
I would switch the locations of the crib and the working table. I’d like the working table next to or underneath the window so one can look up and see far to rest his or her eyes after a period of work/study. It also saves energy to use the natural light during the day. What do u think?

  21. LuigiRules says:

wow, im impressed with myself that i actually understood and agreed with everything that you mentioned and suggested

and im impressed wtih you for having such perfect ideas!!!!

Hi @gtr3cords, I would agree in some circumstances. I think you have to make that determination on a case by case basis. For example she might live in Arizona or Vegas?? or she might have excellent quality insulated windows… on the other hand, she could live in Detroit, in a low rent apartment with wind howling through the cracks. I don’t know. I suspect Julia will make the best decision based on the health and safety of her baby.. Thats first, aesthetics always come second . Good feedback thx

  23. robesondesign says:

What a nice compliment, Thank you ;-) RR

  24. robesondesign says:

Thats AWESOME Julia, I find most apartment managers are willing to allow some painting as long as you agree to paint it back to its org. color when leaving!! The branch is a sticker? Thats cool. I really like it and agree you should keep it. Can’t wait to see how it turns out. If you provide me with photos… maybe even film footage?? I’ll make a video and upload to my channel.. . “Makeover Mondays first success story” :-) Contact me if you have questions as you go…. RR
